After an overwhelming response of All-Day Breakfast in the U.S in the fall of 2015, McDonald’s introduced it to Canada at most of its 1400 restaurants on 21st Feb 2017. The fast-food chain served their breakfast menu all day long and was all the rage on the internet. We decided to pull out some insights around the hashtag #alldaybreakfast on twitter using our AI algorithms. We started our tracking at 9 a.m on 20th Feb and crawled nearly 6K tweets. This report holds what the internet has to say.

Getting hotcakes and McMuffin at 8 p.m instead of 8 a.m is bliss for many of us (94% to be precise). Yes! The overall sentiments was an overwhelming 94% positive.

The word cloud had mcd_canada and all day breakfast trending along with some words like a good day that clearly exhibited the excitement and appreciation among the people.

The emotion remained happy swooping up an 85% score. However, the absence of McGriddle in the menu might have pissed off some 2% of the people.

The intent graph for the tweets exhibits that most of what was tweeted were random discussion around all day breakfast and nearly 23% of the tweets were actually opinion- driven.
